Daily Birthdays and Events in Sci-Fi, Comics and related areas

September 22, 2010

El Gato Negro, Spy vs. Spy, TMNT, X: The Unknown, Blakes 7, Tarzan the Fearless, Flash Gordon's Trip To Mars, Space Ghost, The Starlost, Timecop.

As a child I remember watching The Starlost which was an unfortunate Canadian sci-fi show devised by Harlen Ellison. To add credibility to the show Walter Koenig appeared in two episodes. The series only lasted 16 episodes but to a young person like myself it was the beginnings of an induction into sci-fi.

Also make note of Man From Atlantis, amazingly it was the first American show to be seen on Chinese TV.

Enjoy !!!!
