John Vickery 1950, actor, In Babylon 5, he played both Neroon (5 episodes, 1994-1997) and Mr. Welles (1 episode, 1995, "The Fall of Night"). Vickery would also make a guest appearance as the latter in Crusade (1999) as Mr. Welles. His largest Star Trek role was as Gul Rusot (3 episodes, 1999), a member of Damar's Cardassian resistance group, appearing in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "The Changing Face of Evil", "When It Rains..." and "Tacking Into the Wind". He also played a Betazoid Counselor Andrus Hagan (1 episode, 1991)in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Night Terrors" and a Klingon- Prosecutor Orak in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Judgment" (1 episode, 2003). |
Harry Lambert 1916, cartoonist, Lampert began cartooning when he was sixteen years old, and worked for the legendary Max Fleischer, inking and helping produce Betty Boop, Popeye, and Koko the Clown cartoons. While stationed at Drew Field in Tampa, FL, he created Droopy the Drew Field Mosquito which ran in the Drew Field Echoes from 1942-1944. He began drawing comic books and he is best known in that field for being the artistic co-creator of the DC Comics superhero The Flash. Created in collaboration with writer Gardner Fox, the hero first appeared in Flash Comics #1 in 1940, but Lampert left the character after drawing only five stories, gravitating towards his preference of humorous work. He also drew the comic book characters "The King", "Red, White and Blue" and "The Atom". Lampert later went on to draw gag cartoons for Time Magazine, The New York Times, Esquire, and The Saturday Evening Post. |
Aaron Sowd 1970, comic book artist, Sowd began his comic book career as an inker for Top Cow, Marvel Comics, and DC Comics. He currently works as an illustrator and storyboard artist. As a storyboard artist, Sowd has worked on Michael Bay's Transformers, Ultimate Avengers II, Freddy vs. Jason, Austin Powers in Goldmember, and God of War. As a conceptual designer, Sowd provided designs for Steven Soderbergh and James Cameron's Solaris, as well as Human Nature and Virus. In animation, Sowd has worked on the style guides for Titan A.E. and Anastasia for 20th Century Fox Animation. Sowd's comic book credits include: 9-11: September 11, 2001 Stories to Remember, Volume 2, Sowd's work has appeared in The New York Times, People Magazine, Time Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Playboy, Gear and PlayStation Magazine. |
