Gerry Conway 1952, comic book writer, He has been a professional writer since he was sixteen. He has written a wide variety of materials including comic books, novels, short stories, screenplays, and television shows. In the comics industry, is he best known for his run on The Amazing Spider-Man, during which Gwen Stacey died and The Punisher was introduced to the Marvel universe. His other main creation was with Al Milgrom, the DC character Firestorm. Gerry was also one of the primary writers of the Star Trek comic strip in 1983.
