Today is a great day for voices from my past. I am in particular talking about Dickie Jones and Jim Backus. Back in 1940 Dickie Jones did the voice of Pinocchio, after that point he went on to be an outstanding actor in the genre of westerns. If you get a chance take a look at his work by searching his name online. Jim Backus is more familiar to alot of you. He was the voice of Mr. Magoo from 1948 to 1977. Also more of you will know him as the millionaire on Gilligan's Island, and even some will remember his as Mr. Dithers on the Blondie show in the late 60's. His work panned from 1947 to 1990 and began and ended with him doing voices for animation.
