Daily Birthdays and Events in Sci-Fi, Comics and related areas

June 19, 2010

Farscape, Trekkies, Nyota Uhura, 101 Dalmations II, Moon Mullins, Encounter at Farpoint, Broken Bow.

So just a few birthdays today but from a sci-fi male point of view it's Zoë Saldana's birthday. Zoë is the new Nyota Uhura on the re-imagined Star Trek movie franchise. One thing I do know is that she talked at great length to the original Uhara, Nichelle Nichols, on set to make the character believable and familiar to the audience.

Also take a look at the line up of events, I especially like the first one since I have a fascination with comic strips.

Enjoy !!!
