Daily Birthdays and Events in Sci-Fi, Comics and related areas

August 8, 2011

Red Raven, Aquaman, Boy Commandos, Captain Midnight, Oscar Goldman, Salvage 1, Land of the Lost, Cowboys & Aliens, Hagar the Horrible, Alien Nation.

Today I'm kind of torn between pointing out just one person or event as I usually do. My dilemma is that Richard Anderson, who played Oscar Goldman from the Six Million Dollar Man series, is having a birthday but at the same time Keith Carradine is having a birthday also. Why such a dilemma? Well, I saw Cowboys and Aliens last weekend and was very impressed. Keith, as always, played the cowboy role perfectly as he has done over the years. Keith played a lesser role in comparison to the bigger named stars but I felt he was a major person who glued the storyline together. So there you go a hit from the past and a fresh movie in theaters all in one intro.

Enjoy !!!
