Birthdays

J. Scott Campbell 1973, comic book artist, Campbell is best known as the original artist and co-creator of Gen¹³ and Danger Girl. He got his big break at Jim Lee's Wildstorm Productions with his work on Gen¹³, his first comic book series, which featured a group of teenage heroes. He soon gained a reputation in the American comics industry for his highly sexualized illustrations of women.

Irving A. Feinberg 1909, "Star Trek" (property master) (77 episodes, 1966-1969) The small medical sensor that Star Trek's McCoy uses to scan people was called a "Feinberg". This was in honour of the show's Property Master, Irv Feinberg. Among other things, he was responsible for acquiring or modifying the field reader tube and the laser scalpel; his props were referred to by the cast and crew as Feinbergers.
