Daily Birthdays and Events in Sci-Fi, Comics and related areas

February 23, 2011

Dwayne McDuffie, Nicholas Courtney, Nurse Chapel, Coraline, Mann & Machine, Toomorrow, Futureworld, Bionic Woman, Soylent Green, Wizard of Oz.

I remember meeting Majel Barrett-Roddenberry at Chicago in the early to mid 90's. She was a wonderful woman and she was nice enough to sign a photo for me.
On a sad note Comic book writer, television writer, and Facebook friend Dwayne McDuffie passed away from complications yesterday, and additionally on a sad note Nicholas Courtney (Doctor Who's Brigadier) has passed away also.

My traditional "Enjoy" comment is being replaced with RIP today.
