Daily Birthdays and Events in Sci-Fi, Comics and related areas

February 12, 2010

Lady Death, SeaQuest DSV, V, Andromeda, Time Trax, Dr. Who, Omega Man, Lorne Green, Bambi, Tom Corbett, The Strange World of Planet X, Manimal.

Today for me is a day of "Oh ya, I remember him. " It's one of those moments where you suddenly realize the connections from one series to another and how one actor seemed to mesh between them. So take a look at some of the actors and see if you remember them in each of their roles over the years. A good example is Michael Ironside. I had forgot some of his earlier work.

The original Commander Adama is also a birthday boy. Lorne Green was always Pa Cartwright first and Adama second to me.

Finally, pay attention to how many actors and actresses all worked on the same series. Good examples are Bionic Woman, Battlestar Galactica, SeaQuest DSV, and of course the multiple Star Trek series.
