Daily Birthdays and Events in Sci-Fi, Comics and related areas

February 23, 2010

Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, The Questor Tapes, War of the Worlds, Mann & Machine, Ridley Scott, Ghost Rider, Tootsie Roll, Science Fiction Theatre.

It goes without saying that the queen of sci-fi is getting mentioned today. Majel, for 50 years, lived and breathed sci-fi and she will always be remembered for it. It only makes sense that if she hadn't passed on that more of Gene's visions would be translated onto the screen. Lots of buzz is going on now for more Roddenberry works in the idea stages, we'll have to see what happens in the future.

Take a look at the names today and see what you think. A few surprised me when I did the research for this day. Oh and for all that enjoyed tootsie rolls as a kid, check the events.
