Birthdays

Sean Chen 1968, He began his career at Valiant Comics, penciling their flagship title, X-O Manowar, as well as Bloodshot, Harbinger and Rai and the Future Force. After Valiant, he then moved on to Marvel Comics, where he drew Iron Man for over three years. His other works include Wolverine, Elektra, and most recently the maxi-series X-Men: The End.
David Nakayama 1978, comic book artist. Nakayama's first professional comics work was published in Star Wars Tales #17, while he was a student at the Joe Kubert School. In 2007, David began working for Marvel Comics. He drew the Hulk story in Marvel Adventures: Iron Man and Hulk, one of the company's two Free Comic Book Day issues that year, and afterwards helped launch the Marvel Adventures: Hulk series. After six issues of Hulk, he worked on Marvel Adventures: Fantastic Four and Spider-man as well.

Terri Osborne 1969, sci-fi author, specializes in Star Trek and Doctor Who fiction.
Mario Boon 1974, comic book artist, He began illustrating children's books and magazines and by 2000, he had published his first children's book, De Kip van Huub. He worked on a comic series about a punk band named X!nk for the Flemmish publisher Dupuis and started the pulp-deluxe website for aspiring young talent. In 2007 he did all of the artwork, including colors and letters, for the "Persistent City" story in the HOPE: New Orleans graphic novel from Ronin Publishing. He also worked for Image Comics on their Texas Strangers series, penciling, inking, and coloring the two issues released. Later the same year, he began contributing to IDW Publishing's Star Trek line with color work on a few of their mini-series, before becoming the main color artist on Year Four: The Enterprise Experiment.
