What an amazing day for sci-fi writers. Not only is it Arthur C. Clarke's birthday but the writer of Blade Runner, Philip Dick is also celebrating his birthday.

On top of that Nicholas Courtney, who played Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, is also celebrating his birthday. Nicholas has the record of having appeared with the most incarnations of the Doctor in the Doctor Who series.

Steve Mattsson 1959, comic book artist and writer, His career began in the mid-1980s, with contributions to Dark Horse Comics's project Boris the Bear. He also served as co-writer on DC's Superboy and the Ravers.
Sir Arthur Charles Clarke 1917, science fiction author, inventor, and futurist, most famous for the novel 2001: A Space Odyssey, written in collaboration with director Stanley Kubrick, a collaboration which also produced the film of the same name.
