Two simple words..... Hugh Hefner !! Although he made very few appearances in cartoons and TV that fits in this blog it still is enough to mention is birthday. Hef's the man and always will be. Not many can say anything bad about him. Also sharing a birthday with him is Jenna Jameson, 'nuf said.



Also want to point out Mac Raboy who made so many contributions to the early years of comics and strips.

Birthdays

Emmanuel "Mac" Raboy 1914, cartoonist. He was known for his work on Fawcett Comics' Captain Marvel Jr. and as the Sunday strip artist of Flash Gordon for over 20 years. In the 1940s he began working for comic books and gained fame as the illustrator for Captain Marvel, Jr. and the Green Lama. In the spring of 1946, King Features hired Raboy to continue the Sunday page adventures of Flash Gordon, which he continued to work on until his death.
