| 1987, Scenes on board the alien vessel, including a deleted scene of the alien touching Riker and Troi with it's tentacles, are filmed for TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint". The deleted scene goes as follows : While "on board" the alien lifeform, tentacles reach out of the wall and grabbed for Deanna Troi and Riker. The producers decided these special effects looked horrible and removed the scenes from the episode. |
