A big Happy Birthday to artist and Facebook friend, Jill Thompson. It was a joy to have her attend the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo in 2010.

Birthdays

Jill Thompson 1966, comic book artist, Probably better known for her work on Neil Gaiman's The Sandman characters and her own Scary Godmother series, she has also worked on The Invisibles, Swamp Thing, and Wonder Woman. In 2005 Thompson wrote and illustrated the Dead Boy Detectives, an original graphic novel based on two minor characters from Season of Mists.

1980, Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24½th Century is aired as a sequel to the 1953 original 7 minute cartoon. Daffy played the role of metafictional character "Duck Edgar Dumas Aloysius Dodgers".
